The URE04 season is not finished yet but work on the new car has already begun. Wednesday the third of September from 16:00 onwards there is an “infoborrel” in “de Weeghconst”.
Interested people can meet the team here in an informal atmosphere and get information about vacancies in the team.

The Weeghconst is situated in W-Laag. Go left when you enter W-Hoog and follow the signs get there, call us if you can not find it.

The next upcoming event will be the Dutch Open, an unofficial Formula Student event held in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands.

As the annual Baltic Open is normally organized by one of the Baltic teams, the DUTracing team from the TU-Delft took the liberty to organize the first event below sea level!

URE will represent itself at the Silverdome in Zoetermeer from the 28th till the 30th of August. Everyone willing to come and watch the races is welcome! More information can be read at the website of DUTracing

Although the team finished all the dynamic events, and preformed extremely well on the business event, the team ended up the 39th place overall. At the end of the event, when the results were displayed, it seemed fuel consumption was one of the ‘killing’ factors. Where only a total of 5.5 liters of fuel is allowed for the endurace race, the URE04 needed 6.7 liters of petrol which resulted in a huge time penalty of 264 seconds, 16% of the total endurance time.
