The URE04 has finished all events in Italy. The static part went well with a 7th place in the Business presentations, a 10th place in the Engineering event and a 9th place in the Cost analyses.

The results for the dynamic events are not all in yet, but the acceleration, skid pad and autocross went quite well. During the endurance we had some brake problems but managed to finish the race nevertheless.

As soon as the official results are in we will update this post.

Update:
A quick update from Italy is in. The final result is a very nice 9th place overall, the best result ever for URE!

Pictures and a full update will follow during this week due to the very poor internet facilities near the circuit.

Tomorrow the URE04 will go to Formula SAE Italy 2008, the final race of the 2007-2008 season. The race is held on Fiorano, the test circuit of Ferrari. There will be a daily newsletter with updates if it is possible to find an internet connection on the circuit.

From sunday the 14th of September a docusoap about URE will be shown on TV. TopSpeed TV followed the team through the development of the URE04 from the design to the race in Germany. The result is a nice 20 minute show which can be seen on the following stations. Broadcast times vary per station.
