This week, the controller for the pneumatic shift system finished building. The shift system now includes adjustable shift speeds, traction control settings, autoshift settings and more. Tests prove that the system works, so it’s ready for action! Coming weeks more parts of the electronics will finish, including the telemetry-system, the data acquisition system and the steering wheel electronics.

On Friday the 16th of January we registered for the Formula Student competition in Germany. The online registration was opened at exactly 13:00 CET and, after an incredible rush of participants, 8.760 seconds later all 78 spots were taken.

The first team was registered at exactly 13:00”05”010. We registered at 13:00”06”520. There are 38 teams on the waiting list, we hope they all get a chance to prove themselves at one of the other FS events.

On Tuesday the 20th of January we registered for the Formula Student competition in England. There were 88 spots available and we expected a very big rush because a lot of teams could not register for FS Germany. After setting up in different locations to make sure we would not suffer any internet problems we managed to register as 12th team. Minutes later all 88 spots were taken.
