URE was present at the finals of the Junior Vakkanjers with VDL from the 10th to the 13th of March. This is the Dutch championship for youth in metalworking, electrical engineering, welding, 3D CAD drawing, metalektro and more. They were hosted at VDL Steelweld in Breda.

Studium Generale and URE will organize a lecture about the physical and mental state of F1 drivers during a race.

Daniel Berckmans, professor at the KU Leuven, will explain the intense conditions a driver has to endure and how technical support can help him or her to reduce lap times.

Attendance is free of charge. The lecture will be held on Wednesday the 18th of March in the “Blauwe Zaal” in the Auditorium from 11:45 hour till 12:30 CET.

University Racing Eindhoven will be present on the AutoRAI 2009. You can find us on standnumber 07.106.
