One of the biggest new things on the URE05 is the carbon fiber monocoque. It has been a lot of work to build the chassis but on Thursday the 7th of May it was finished and ready to show to our team. We had a small monocoque presentation with our team at the Vision Dynamics office to celebrate this milestone.

After months of hard work, it is finally time to present our newest car, the URE05, to the public. This will be done on the 2nd of June on the High Tech Automotive Campus during the first International Automotive Cluster Conference.

The past 8 months the URE04 has been intensively used for testing purpose and driver’s training. For example the torque on the rear axles have been measured as well as the forces on the connection rods. Besides this different setups have been tested in preparation for the URE05. A video with a short impression of the testing days can be seen below.

The drivers selection of the URE05 has finished after months of training and competition. Some did not make it to the last five, even thou they worked really hard for it. We would like to congratulate the 5 drivers stated below and are confident that they will bring the car to the finish line as safe and fast as possible!
