As can be read in the previous post the concept presentation has been given and concepts have been shown to the team. Not all the technical details can be revealed at this moment, but one of the major issues will be made public by this post. During Formula Student Germany 2009 new plans have been launched for a new class in Formula Student Germany: Formula Student Electric.
Due to these new plans the team has decided to convert the 2008-2009 car into an electric Formula Student race car, the URE05e. Moreover we will develop a brand new URE06 with an conventional combustion engine and improved reliability and handling!
More information will be provided here and in our newsletter!

Last weekend URE has been present at the Open Dag of the TU/e. Many of new potential students visited the University to clarify their thoughts about the different studies offered by the TU/e. As the racing team of the University we have been present to show all the different aspects of developing a race car. During these days we offered the students with all the information required and how our project relates to various studies.
