After the weight reduction, which was realised for the URE08, the next key to gain performance was the use of aerodynamic devices. These generate downforce, resulting in more grip of the tires. Furthermore, efforts were done to improve the reliability of the car. In the summer of 2014, the team managed to achieve great results at the events in the UK, Germany and Spain.
